About me

I'm a childminder in Woolwich and I work from my family home. I've been registered since 2007, and I was looking after children long before that.

I became a childminder so I could be at home with my own children. They're grown up now, and I'm still doing it because I love working with children and their families.

I'm helped by assistants when I need them, usually several times a week. They all have enhanced DBS checks, first aid and safeguarding training, and a suitability letter from Ofsted.

I do regular risk assessments of my home and for every outing.

I am a member of PACEY, the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years.

I speak English and Portuguese fluently.

What Ofsted says

Ofsted last visited on 4 March 2024. They rated me Good overall, and Good in all four areas they graded: quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management. Safeguarding was judged effective.

"Excellent partnerships with parents are in place."
